The Winter Within 360/ VR (Destination BC)

Moves Media was contracted by Destination BC and worked closely with managing partners to create a one of a kind 360 video/ ski VR experience. For this project, we captured incredible footage on Whistler Blackcomb using 360 video stationary ground cameras, aerial drones with customized 360 camera rigs, and custom made helmet mounts for action shots. Destination BC showcased British Columbia across the world by travelling with the video you see on Samsung Gear VR Headsets. Travel industry professionals in all parts of the world were able to live through the eyes of us privileged West Coast mountain enthusiasts.

This project was very exciting to produce. Our team, spent half a week with two professional skiers scouting and filming in remote areas of Whistler’s back country as well as the resort itself. For more information on 360 video please contact Moves Media here.
